Our Mission

The mission of the Alton School District is to prepare our students with college, career and citizenship skills through a safe and progressive learning environment.

The City of Alton has been named as one of 5 National Finalists for the Small Business Revolution - Main Street Revitalization contest!
Alton needs your votes to win this contest and the prize of $500,000 to help revitalize our "main streets" and to be featured in season 3 of the original series Small Business Revolution - Main Street.
You may vote once per day from every email address you have, so vote often and share with your friends and family, there is no restriction on where the votes can come from.
Voting is only open for one week, we encourage you and your families to vote for Alton, this money could go a long way in revitalizing our town and its small businesses, not to mention receiving a large amount of positive exposure on a national scale!
